XCVI was founded in 1996—'XCVI' represents the Roman numerals for '96—from the back of a mom-and-pop clothing boutique on Melrose Avenue. Along with designer Lilia Gorodnitski, the Zeltzer family manifested a shared vision of casual clothing that enriches life with joy, comfort, and ease.
